ANA Cargo Adds First B777F For Flights To The U.S.

ANA Cargo, the cargo subsidiary of All Nippon Airways (NH), received its first Boeing 777F in May. The airline put the aircraft into revenue service on July 2 on the Tokyo (NRT) – Osaka (KIX) – Shanghai (PVG) route. From August 25, the aircraft will fly nonstop between NRT and PVG. Regional services will continue as pilots and ground staff become familiar with the aircraft. The airline will add nonstop cargo service from Tokyo (NRT) to Chicago (ORD) on October 27 after their second B777F is delivered. Service to ORD with dedicated freighters will allow NH to offer freight forwarders more options for oversized, hazardous materials and special care cargo such as pharmaceuticals.

Currently, ANA Cargo operates 12 B767F aircraft in addition to the 2 B777F they have committed to.
